This allows the DC outputs to be buffered in the minute to hour range without voltage dip. During buffering, it is possible to shut down the system in a targeted and safe manner or, if necessary, to allow the system to continue running without interference. The Bat8600 battery module, based on maintenance-free LiFePo4 (lithium iron phosphate) rechargeable batteries, has an energy storage capacity of 264 Wh and buffers 14 min at 960 watts. The buffer time can be extended accordingly by connecting up to 5 identical BAT8600 in parallel. The intelligent battery management ensures a temperature-controlled charging characteristic and monitors the operational readiness and charge status.
